From January 14 to March 10, at Gloria Maria Gallery (Milano) travel between the monuments virtual / real Angelo Plessas
Consider the real and virtual in the same way. For him there is no difference between a woman crosses her legs in our screen or in any bar in the street. To hear him talk, it seems that Angelo Plessas spend most time online, looking at his works, the suspect that, in fact, really living in another world, made up of pixels, bright synthetic sounds and forms and two size. The chance to meet him "really" out of his many websites and social networking sites, is at the staff at Gloria Maria Gallery, Every website is a monument, from 14 January to 10 March. The project can be considered as a sort of dedication in Milan, as it is precisely in this city that has Plessas ideally designed its monuments. The artist has "traveled" in the Lombard city via Goggle Maps, scaricandoo images of streets, squares and gardens, to set up its virtual monuments. In addition to the gallery, the artist also involved Bovisa Triennale (Milan), where it will screen 1 to 13 February Alldaydoingnothing one of his latest creations web. We asked Angelo to tell us in what will consist his show. 
Can you give me a brief description of your project? I designed the monuments, out of my website, and I've placed in some public spaces Milan. In the gallery we have a sort of "demo" of a monument, any projections of my web sites, a large billboard with pictures and postcards of the monuments. 
Why the choice of the theme of "Heritage"? Consider my websites as monuments because so many people visited them running on the network. In my opinion, put a monument in a square and publish a flash animation on the net is exactly the same thing. I consider both public sculpture. There is an episode that has spurred you in a special way to pursue this issue? 
Two years ago I participated in the Biennale of Athens, where I showed a highly political project. I thought to relate the 'Pride Athens with the Biennale, with a work called Monument to the Internet Hookups. The monument has marched in the Pride then was solemnly installed in a deserted area near the site of the Biennale. After the Biennale, the municipality of Athens has built a small park around the monument, complete with flowers and toys for children. It's funny how my sculpture, which consisted of a large black steel pyramid designed to commemorate the habits "cruising" the gay community, and then ended up in a garden frequented by families, surrounded by flowers and balloons. I consider it a monument "In exile".
Can you explain briefly the relationship between real and virtual in your project? Everything we live is both virtual and real. It's really the same thing today. The plan for this show is to be considered both on the desktop, either as a real thing, without a clear distinction. The monuments were designed by me in this self-duality.
